Passive PoE™ Set 5,5x2,5

The Passive PoE™ - Injector enables to merge the power supply and data to one ethernet cable and supply them to the devices with PoE port. It is suitable for connecting the devices which actively support Passive PoE™ such as Wiligear, LigoWave, Mikrotik-routerboard, WRAP, ALIX etc. They can be supplied standardly up to 50 V (the power adapter is not included). Passive PoE`s range is normally from 30-40 metres/100-130 ft - the real distance depends on the power supply, type of cable and powered device.

Schematic Installation Procedure

Schematic Installation Procedure
On the lower end:
1. Connect network cable to RJ45 female connector of Passive PoE™ Injector
2. Connect RJ 45 male connector of Passive PoE™ Injector to lower end device (PC/Hub/Switch)
3. Connect DC connector of Passive PoE™ Injector to DC power source
 
On the upper end:
4. Connect network cable to RJ45 female connector of Passive PoE™ Splitter
5. Connect the DC connector of Passive PoE™Splitter to DC connector of device you intend to power using Passive PoE™
6. Connect RJ 45 male connector of Passive PoE™ Splitter to ethernet port of device you intend to power using Passive PoE™

Bulkhead Mount Help

1. Insert PoE into the cut-out as shown on picture.
2. Rotate PoE for about 45 degrees, until you feel click.
3. Installation is completed.
